New Orleans - from orbit we can see the Lake Pontchartrain Causeway, both airports, and happily - the French Quarter.

I’m going to get Commander Hadfield to do more recon for me on future travel destinations. He’s off to a good start with NOLA.

Last night, a couple of friends and I watched “Liz & Dick” and it was amazing. Gloriously, awesomely awful.
Grab a bottle of “VODKA” brand vodka and settle in, because the movie is everything you expect it to be. It leans into its awfulness with a largely nonsensical plot, erratic scene cuts and glorious examples of fine acting by Lindsay Lohan (like this!).
You don’t need to watch the whole thing, but you do need to see Lindsay shout at the other guy, “Go back to your theatre, you BIG THESBIAN!”

Now that Shakira’s had her baby, I can make a confession. I’ve looked at this picture a bunch of times and never noticed she’s in it.
Why, hello there, Gerard Piqué.
